Art with Nature
"Simplicity is natures first step, and the last of art."

Ever since I can remember myself, I’ve had a deep connection and desire to touch nature directly, work with its simplicity and create with the materials it offers in its raw state. I am drawn to find the fine line between manipulating the material I gather and leaving its authentic beauty uncovered.
I feel at my best in nature, where I can observe, sense and feel the materials that inspire me. I change them and alter their purpose, while trying to preserve their unique and natural qualities, shapes, textures, and spirit..
With the years I obtained skills, experience and confidence in my work. Whether I’m creating my art freely in my studio in Kibbutz Ein Carmel, where a piece of raw material manifests into something new and exciting, or during external projects where I am realizing someone’s dream while doing what I love most. Whether I'm teaching woodworking, or collaborating with other artists- I feel very lucky to have reached a point where my creation, my art, is my daily work and livelihood.
